What better way to spend a beautiful fall afternoon than with the three F’s: Friends, Fords, n’ Football?  This sporty looking bunch leaning on their Model T Ford look ready to play!  The drawing was based on an old photo from my Granny’s trunk, probably taken by my grandfather of his friends around the early 1920s in Galveston, Texas where he grew up.  Grandpa Clifford and his friends were apparently quite the shutterbugs with their old Brownie cameras back in the day, and this will be the first in a series I plan to do on “Grandpa’s Galveston.”  It took me a little over four months to complete.
